Storyline helps people and organizations gather memories, photos, artwork, recordings, documents, places, and other contributions into public or private Storylines.

Operator and collection responsibilities

Storyline is operated by DRKNYT. Georgian Bay Story Project is a regional pilot powered by Storyline. Save Georgian Bay owns its participating collection; contributors retain ownership of their contributions. The regional administrator manages the regional site and has administrative access to its pilot collection. The collection owner and authorized reviewers handle publication decisions; the regional administrator can also provide collection administration and review support. Developers configure published-story views and embeds, and do not receive private review access unless separately assigned Reviewer access. Technical support and privacy questions go to lab@drknyt.com.

What you can expect

Your responsibilities

• Use Storyline respectfully and lawfully.
• Share only material you created or have permission to share.
• Do not use Storyline to publish private, harmful, defamatory, misleading, or unauthorized material.
• Respect contributor credit choices and privacy preferences.

Ownership

Contributors keep ownership of their stories, photos, artwork, poems, recordings, documents, and other materials. Storyline owns the platform, software, workflows, templates, and product experience.

Stewarded Storylines

Storyline stewards are responsible for reviewing contributions before publication and using approved contributions only within the permissions given by contributors.
